About the Instructors


Donna E. Holt (ITIL Practitioner, ItSMF Founding Member)

Since 1997, Donna has focused on professional training and course development in the areas of ITIL, IT Service Management, and IT support. She has presented more than 100 training seminars to some thousands of mid and upper-level managers; and has personally performed certification audits on globally dispersed companies including Lockheed Martin and Honda. With extensive real-world experience in both ITIL and IT Service Management, Donna has consulted to a broad portfolio of companies in helping to establish their ITIL practices.


Since 2008, her focus has been almost exclusively on preparing business and government professionals for ITIL certifications. Donna holds multiple certifications, including that of accredited ITIL Practitioner, and trains other ITIL instructors on how to effectively deliver ITIL classes. Donna is a founding board member and COO of the Los Angeles IT Service Management Forum (ItSMF) and is a board member of the Help Desk Institute (HDI).

Amit Chaudhry (ITIL Expert, CISSP, CISA, CobIT)

Amit is a distinguished executive trainer with a 17-year track record of hands-on experience as ITIL practitioner, project manager, and instructor. Since 1994 he has successfully completed both large and small scale ITIL implementations for organizations ranging from public agencies to Fortune 100 firms. He has audited and assessed the service management operations of countless organizations, and is personally responsible for designing the Enterprise Services Framework of clients which include Bank of America, Duke Energy, and World Bank.


Amit has mentored and trained over 3,000 aspiring ITIL professionals in the art and science of IT service management, who have gone on to be successful practitioners within their own organizations. Amit holds multiple ITIL certificates, including that of ITIL Expert. Amit also holds certifications as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and is CobIT Certified.
